New tiller

Picked up today from Tractor Supply the CountryLine tiller model # TG-48. This IS the King Kutter just with a different label. The TSC website has wrong info on this tiller. It does have 6 tines per flange instead of 4 like the website saids. This is a great tiller and will enjoy using it.

Just received a 74 inch tiller from Everythingattachment. It is very heavy duty and weighs almost 1000 lbs model number YJR074. This tiller does a fantastic job and goes very deep. Price was good with shipment included and no taxes.

Thank you Ted, Have a question about oil changes at 30 hours as the manual specifies. On the tiller there is decal listing three places to change oil: One is the transfer case with 1.2 liter, two is Gear case with also 1.2 liter, and three is rotary axle listed as .18 liter. The bearing they call rotary axle is the outboard bearing for the main shaft I think.



Now the outboard bearing has no drain plug or oil check plug. It only has a vent/fill plug. How do I change the oil and check level?? Inserting something from the fill plug does not seem to work. Can you help out?? Frits

I have questioned the factory about this and the proper way to check the fluid in the outer bearing is to insert something from the fill plug. When it is properly filled, the fluid should show on whatever you're inserting into that hole and you'll know that the fluid is over the bearing.
