Just for reference, you can purchase a new Meggar +/- 2% hand held TDR for less than $360 new, with units of greater accuracy costing progressively more. Rental on a handheld unit shouldn't be too high (assuming local availability ...)

Huh. I must have been looking at the wrong rental company. I didn't see any for less than around $800. Maybe that was for, like, a minimum of a week or something.
