I plan on weighing him this weekend.

You may already know this, but you can get a pretty good estimate of a pig's weight by measuring their length and girth. Length is measured from just between the ears to the top of the base of the tail. Girth is measured just behind their front legs. If you're measuring in inches, you calculate Length * Girth * Girth / 400 to get weight in pounds. If you have a livestock scale, this is not necessary, but if you don't, this will get you pretty well in the ballpark. For pigs under 50 lbs, this will over-estimate their weight a bit, and for pigs over about 300 lbs, it will under-estimate a bit.

Just a quick update on Oscar. He isn't enjoying summer, but seems to like watching us work on the house. He sleeps all day long and then wonders around at night time. He can be hard to find when he's hidden in the bushes, but usually Leo gives him away. If I can find Leo, I can find Oscar!!!!

Just a quick update on Oscar. He isn't enjoying summer, but seems to like watching us work on the house. He sleeps all day long and then wonders around at night time. He can be hard to find when he's hidden in the bushes, but usually Leo gives him away. If I can find Leo, I can find Oscar!!!!
