Congratulations!

Did you get a warranty on a used tractor? Hopefully you won't need it. Kubota has made some good equipment.

Thanks! Yes Sir I was able to get a full factory warranty because this tractor was leased to a local peach farmer for a couple of months to pull their wagons. To clear that up I was able to get the warranty because technically I am the first buyer.

I think there are a lot of good tractors out there these days. Some are better in different areas than others but overall they are all good especially if you are good to them! I was really looking hard at a Mahindra but ended up with a better deal on this Kubota and by all means I am not disappointed!!!

For the size and power, my MX5100 is the best tractor I have ever owned.

Good choice saving $4000. You can add a lot of attachments for that amount.

Well I finally got the pictures downloaded to our computer. The first picture is the tractor on the dealers lot with the R4s and without a loader. I had them swap out the R4s for Ag's and install the FEL, also got a 6 foot landpride cutter. I am very happy with this tractor so far, I really feel I did make the right deciscion, kinda funny when I started this tractor buying adventure I said I would not get a Kubota...I guess I ate those words.

I got to use it for a couple of hours Saturday morning before we left for vacation and I found out the slip clutch does work on the cutter. I found the the chain link gate that I knew was out there in the old pasture that has not been mowed in two years. You can kinda see how overgrown it got in some of the pictures. I had a good idea where the gate was located and I was easily backing the cutter into the spot, I didnt see it while backing in so I went to pull up to move over a bit and thats when I found the gate. I did manage to wrap the wire up in the cutter and then the slip clutch did its job and shut the cutter down. I got the wire clear from the cutter in about 20 or 30 minutes and engaged the PTO to make sure everything was still working and it was. Is there anything I should check on the slip clutch or cutter when I get home before using it again?
