question about hydraulic valves

You can tee a gauge in anywhere between the pump and the first valve in the high pressure line.

The short section of rubber hose connecting the hard return lines is common. I think it's for ease of fitment and to isolate vibration.

To know the pump pressure, should I tee in a gage to the in port of the valve?

Wilco.

Since the FEL valve is normally in front of you, teeing a hyd gage at the IN port is a good way to monitor the hyd system.

No matter which valve you use, the gage will show the pressure developed by that cyl or hyd motor.

You could make a plug in gage set like this one, and plug it in where ever you wanted.

What you expect to see is any pressure up to the relief pressure.

Hello,

I'm starting to build the loader, but I have a question.
I don't think I want to use backpressure the hole time, so I started thinking how I could make it easy to change betweet back pressure on the loader arms and no back pressure. This is how it came up. can anyone decide if this is right? or other opinions how to do are welcome.

Wilco.

With the bucket on the ground, if you tilt to dump, the lip of the bucket will push on the ground and raise the wheels, but if you go into regen, it probably will not raise.

Some valves go into regen using the first part of the valve, and other go into regen all the way to the right past the soft stop.

I understand, but I have just a simple valve witout regen and float, because here in holland valves with regen and float are realy expensive.
I have a monoblock valve with 3 sections. on the firsth 2 sections im going to add a joystick. the thirth section is for a 3rd function.
Now I want to make some kind of float to the arms (up/down) that was the reason of the 2way ball valve.
Can I connect it the way of the picture I posted earlier?

If that joystick is an option for that particular valve, then yes.

If your spool does not have float, you can add a float valve .

Yes, it is.

Can I also ad a ball valve, between the up/down hydraulic lines to create the float function? When its closed, it works normal so up and down apart, and when i open the valve the fluid can go directly to the tank. So, not like the earlier photo i posted, but the side whats now connected to the tank connected at the up line. I hope you understand me but its quite difficult to explain in a different language :D

If you do not have float on your FEL valve. and the FEL levers are in neutral, then, if you add a tee and a ball valve to each tee, and run the ball valve output to tank, then, if you open the ball valves the cyl will float. However, if you forget and push the FEL levers, the fluid will also go to tank until you close the ball valve.

Is it going to be worth it to be turning valve knobs just to float the lift cyl?

Even this valve below will do the float job, but you have to pull or push the knob to float.

This might be your better option.
