HyGard vs. low vis HyGard in 3520 ehydro

Hiya,

The service manual for 3x20 series calls for lo-vis fluid in temps from -40 to 104 degrees, standard hy-guard covers from -15 to 122. Can't see temps in WI getting too much above 104, I would use the lo-vis.

I can't imagine using a 3520 much when it is colder than -15. I'd pocket the savings & use regular HyGard.

Hiya,

I've used open station tractors to clear roads up in the mountains in snow country when it's been colder than -20, -15 would have felt good.....

Even though the manual shows you can use either I just pulled the dip stick and noticed the following embossed in the dipstick itself, "use low vis HyGard".

So that settles it for me........Low Vis HyGard it is.
Thanks for your inputs. I'm just not sure if it is required because it is Ehydro vs HST?
