Comparison Yanmar lawsuit.

After receiving some updated information (thanks!) I researched across all regions and got the following current list of importers being sued by Yanmar, nationwide, on grounds of Intellectual Property/Trademark.

Intellectual Property Cases filed matching "Yanmar" (note there are two pages, 21 suits presently).

Every Rep. dealer in my area seems to be listed. Some Im actually surprised that are on there and others I'm not.

I would say that Yanmar is attempting to scare out as many as possible. Some will be offered "legitimate dealership" status to settle and forget they ever saw a grey tractor. Very tempting to a dealer. If offered a chance to be a new dealer of new yanmars!!!!! Especially if yanmar is seriously going to be entering the us market for the long haul. I hope us "greys" can survive!!!!!!

Did I miss it or is Fredricks not listed? If not I would wonder why not? I am hard headed enough that if Yanmar were to win all these suits and cause an end to the parts supply for these greys I would never never never buy another of their products. Do they not realize the impact this could have on no telling how many grey owners? Rant rant rant!

I didn't see any of the UTDA dealers listed on that website.

what list ? I don't see them on the lawsuit list if, that's what your talking about. Don't know for how long,but RCO is listed as UTDA member

Best I can tell RCO has completely dis associated themselves from the greys. Check their sight out.

How would Hoye fit into that. They don't sell tractors. Doesn't seem reasonable UTDA would apply to them. Just asking.
