Hi All,
I was curious if anyone has had control / feathering problems with their control valve on the BL00 loader. Reason for asking is the valve on my 1200X is terrible. I finally used it for moving some dirt last weekend and their is absolutly no feathering of the lower or dump function with a load in the bucket. It jumps and jerks while trying trying to feather when lowering to the point I was worried it would break the front axles.

Dumping is not as jerky but very little to no control. Bucket then flops like it has been cavitated so suspect valve does NOT meter out ( restrict flow from cylinder) which is what is required for over running loads.

Valve is a Nimco Controls.

I love the lift capacity of this loader though. Full bucket of wet gravel with tooth bar and away we go.

regards

Greetings Old n Slow:

My BL00 controls work and feather great on both main arm and bucket. There was a large threaded plug under the backside of the control that weeped / leaked a bit of fluid so I pulled it and tightened it up - no more leaks. But when I had it off I noticed it said made in Italy. Sorry I don't have more info.

Hi PapeCat,

I suspect the 1200X is the red headed step child that no one ones to admit into the family. I did notice the valves on the BL00 where different on the tractors at the dealers but didn't even think to look at the brand names or model numbers. I have ordered a Prince LVT1 series valve for my loader so this will hopefully take care of the problem.

I spent some time last weekend making some modifications to the MMM to make it easier to install and remove. Still looking for a way to add mechanical height control Vs using the 3PH position and MMM gauge wheels. Gauge wheels like to dig in on my rough yard when turning and this puts unwanted stress on the MMM frame and also tears up the yard.

Hello Old N

How did the new loader valve work out?

Have not received the new valve yet. Was supposed to be the middle of October, then the end of October and now second week of November. Sure glad i didn't have more dirt to move.

sorry for the late response also.

Loader Valve Update:
Finally installed the new Prince LVT loader valve and what a difference it made. I can now take a full bucket of dirt and feather the loader up and down like it should. No more dropping like a rock. Dump is also very controlled Vs the run away problem with the stock valve.

Hind sight being 20/20 I should have ordered the valve with dual pressure ports. It would have made it slightly easier to plumb but was still a fairly easy process. All of the ports on the stock valve where the same size as on the new valve.

Now to get the quick tach frame mounted for the Western 6' 8" snow plow before the snow flies. Hope to mount it so can use either the plow or the FEL.
