That is why I do not buy old vehicles anymore. New ones are built to withstand that. And with all the driving I do, the gas is not in my tank long enough to worry about that.

A big part of the agenda from the start.The govt (and obviously the auto industry) wanted to turn the national vehicle fleet, and the small engine fleet over faster.

Didn't take much more than High School level Chemistry knowledge to predict what was going to happen.

You are fortunate to be able to afford to drive new vehicles Will. Many people can't do that and are stuck trying to mitigate problems with legacy cars.

Now, Tada ! E15 - for the environment, of course ! :cool2: NOT !

A new Costco in my area had some issues with their first delivery of the additive.

Catastrophic delivery line failure ? If not, guess that gets filed under "Double check the connector interlocks before turning on the transfer pump !".

I can't see Lubrizol, being one of the very few big players in that game, wanting to scrimp on driver training.

Good to see no major injuries.

Bought my 04 in April of 2007. Used to buy old vehicles, but got tired of working on them all the time. As much as I hate making payments, reliability is nice. Also, when the Drive Clean program started, that made the final decision easier for me. Passing with the truck is easy as pie.
