New B3000 Deluxe Cab on the way

I didn't order a radio after reading the mixed reviews. Sounds like aftermarket stereos would be the way to go if I decide later that I really want to add one. In the mean time, I can keep using the old ipod same way I did when I'd be out plowing with the open station machine.

But my B3030 factory radio has a weather band so I can hear the National Weather Service. Do any aftermarket radios offer this?

Congratulations Bandit. I'm sure you will love your new cabbed tractor. My free advice as far as tunes go.... get the Kubota radio box, and then get a decent aftermarket stereo and put it in yourself. Though I'll agree the cab isn't quiet, its quiet enough for me to enjoy music when using the tractor.... especially snowblowing or mowing. There is no problem hearing the tractor, so you'll be aware if anything is going awry. Glad you got the HSDCC with all the bells and whistles your 3030 had. I was going to suggest the wheel spacers, but I see you have already included them. They make for a more stable seat-of-the-pants feel. I look forward to a bunch of pics here as soon as it arrives ! :)

P.S. As has already been mentioned..... your neighbors will get a kick out of seeing you snowblowing in your skivvies.... the heat and A/C work great ! ;)

Maybe I should add tanning lights in the cab so I can get some color while snowblowing. :rotfl:

Many of them do now. Plus ipod hookups, auxiliary jacks, etc.

I want some time in the cab before I decide exactly what I want, and since I've heard some complaints about the factory setup, I may as well save some money and get exactly what I want once I determine what that is.

I like music and get bored mowing. I tried a Sansa MP3 player with ear bud headsets but the volume was never loud enough with the tractor/mower running. I bought a Sony Walkman and with the cheap earbud head sets I have to roll the volume down to a bit over half volume. I figured all of the MP3 players would be about the same but found out not so. The Sony Walkman can be bought used for around $50 and the earbud headsets for $1 (bought 4 packs for $1 each at a roadside flea market about 3 days ago near Morristown, Tn) to $3 on Ebay,
Us no cabers also endure the sun and cold or just stay in.:D
Praying for you guys in the Northeast!

Got the call this morning. Tractor will be here tomorrow afternoon. :cool2:

There are a few things I've done for years with the open station that won't fly with the cab machine, so some of my usage habits will have to change a bit. My biggest concern is the difficulty of quickly hopping on and off the machine with the cab, so that will take some getting used to. And easy access to the backhoe controls from the tractor seat will probably be a thing of the past because the backhoe sits so much further back on the new machine.

Don't spit with door closed.

Post some pics when it arrives. I know you won't be able to sleep tonight.
