I'd be surprised if your dealer had a lot of wiggle room. However, I could be wrong. Have you looked at the Mahindra USA website? Here you will see the current promotion for the Max 28. I bought mine in July and paid 21,000. That was a Max 28 xl included FEL, 60" mid mount mower, backhoe with thumb. I added a mahindra box blade and a non-mahindra 48" tiller. I think my total was around 23,500. I had another dealer tell me last month that he could not sale the tractor/mmm/backhoe for less than 28,000. I did not get any promotions at the time. Cash price was 21,000, 0% raised the price to 23,500. I did get the Mahindra hat in the mail.

What'd it end up running you? Did you get the hst or the shuttle?
