Well I must say there's a thousand and one uses for a tractor - much more that we would normally think normal.
So onto the remodel project - I have 6x12"x18'/24' beams to set into those pricey beam connectors.
Hmmmmmm those look pretty heavy to carry up a ladder! So I used the L2800 to lift them into place. I strapped the beams down tight to the bucket in the orientation they would drop into the connectors, then crept backward as the bucket lowered them in to prevent the post from being pushed fwd.
What is absolutely fascinating is the ability to creep fwd / backward at literally about a foot per minute (maybe slower?) to set those beams into the connectors. There is no more than 1/16" clearance between the beam width and the connector socket.
I was quite impressed on the dexterity of this machine and the FEL valve too is first class (very good control).
