If you are going to talk about medical than I suggest you do some reading on homeopathic medicine. There are a lot of homeopathic solutions if you know how to use them.
Things like digitalis which is fox glove. One of the best heart medicines is Hawthorn, we have it growing around here. I Germany where the pharmaceutical companies don't have the control they do here Hawthorn is a recognized medicine. One of our group is versed in Homeopathic medicine.

There are a few medical books that I still want to get, one is where there is no doctor and the other where there is no dentist.
In our group we have a dentist, dr, nurse, mechanical and electrical engineers, Leo's, and teachers. Over all we work good together, go on vacations together etc. We have been there during the best and worse times for each other and are not afraid to call each other out.

Have you checked and done a search on Amazon.com ? I am surprised at all the survival and prepper things they have for sale...lots of medical equipment..too and reasonable.
OK, this cracks me up.
I have a family member who thinks like this. He listens to right wing radio idiots yelling all day long and has all the answers. Then he marches into his bathroom and takes a pile of meds. What's wrong with ths picture? We have a country of people, probably better than 90%, taking drugs because they can't take care of themselves but they have all the answers for everyone else. So who here is older and not taking meds? Statins, beta blockers, etc. etc.? Ill bet not very many but everyone knows how to fix the country! Wrong? What's the definition of intelligence? Anyone?
It's the liberals who are creating chaos? What? Ever heard of Timothy McVeigh? Are you guys kidding? Hate groups are at an all time high. What's hate? It's fear, when we hate we are afraid, it's called xenophobia. We are basically expressing our own fear of death.

Not me! Tell the people taking about the 1% and the liberals. I don't care who runs the country, I don't even listen to the news. I'm not waiting for the government to save me! People who are talkng about this or that party are waiting for that.
This is basic survival, can you take care of yourself? Are you on meds? Is someone close to you on meds? How can someone think about long term survival when they can't take care of them self?
Someone give that answer? ( Hint, guns and ammo won't help)

OK - what are you getting at with meds and asking are we on meds or someone close to us....? What , you don't think medicines will be available at all...? I asked our pharmacist and when I went for my annual physical I asked my doc if society totally collapsed would there be medicines available and she said of course there will be...they will be traded and bartered like anything else...Are you talking about folks that need certain meds to sustain their life ? If so...then they have a problem..because I know of no way to stockpile meds...the have expiration dates and you can only buy as many as you doc prescribes for you..and your doc is not going to give you a prescription for 20 yrs. worth of any medicine...So that leaves buying from the internet which is really dumb...you don't know what you are buying....I am only guessing at the point you are trying to make ...other than you don't care for Palin...and you are ready for society to crumble....buy a bunch of aspirin and hope that is all you will ever need.

I don't think anyone should live in fear, and I believe we're just talking about being prepared. You don't take a test in school without studying its called preparation. We're not talking goverment overthrow, there are radicals on both sides , liberals and conservatives, why do we have to label people. Why is someone that stockpile supply's considered a conservative and those that choose not to , a liberal. We are all different with different opinions. Live and let live I say! And EE-bota to address your question . The cheaper 22,ammo , the ones bought in bulk. Usualy will have a few misfires . The better 22 lr ammo usualy won't just like anything you get what you pay for, and if stored in a safe with something in the safe to absorb moisture , the ammo will last a lifetime, plus. Hollow points are made by many manufactores they simply expand more than solids, but aren't really necessary a solid will kill a deer dead with a head shot , I'd say just shoot lots of types and find one that shoots best in your gun. Not all 22 ammo is the same and accuracy is very effected by powder and bullet used. And all manufactured are different. Put some time in , get a cz bolt gun, and you'll have a tack driver.
