There is a new driveshaft on the newer models that have swivel joints instead of the CV joint you have, those old CV styles would round off pretty quick, we have the new style in stock and they are a direct change over, go to www.circlegtractorparts and look under the Jinma woodchipper parts.

This machine, with only a few hours on it, was found to be abused beyond the economics of repair and resell. Current plan is to strip it of a few parts and turn the rest into scrap.

Too bad we don't live a little closer. I'd have bought it as-is, if for no other reason than for spare parts.

is this a direct replacement for the 6" model also??

also would the emergency disconnect still work?>

i have the original style, and has worked flawless for 5 cutting seasons, but i can see how this would be a better setup

Yes, it is a direct replacement and emergency disconnect will still work fine. We have sold many to customers who had the old style shaft.
