Take a honest look at the Nissan Titan.

the longest box available on the current model year titan is 7' 3". i'm looking for a super cab long box 4x4 truck and sadly the titan does not have the options i require.

Speaking of truck bed sizes, has anyone looked at a 1st gen Tundra and how shallow the bed is. I don't know if the newer ones are like that or not.

The newer "Full Size" tundra has a MUCH deeper bed. I owned one for about 5 years - nice truck and truly full size.

Well after my Ford broke down for the last time two weeks ago (and I have driven Fords since the 70's) I finally bucked up and bought a real truck.
Now I don't have to put air bags on it, or extra springs to run my 5th wheel around the country or spend a fortune constantly on repairs.
I was tired of watching my friends walk away from me on hills also.

Dodge will have to keep upping their quality for another 5 years and be consistent with it before I'll take a look at them. You don't make less then quality trucks for years and then change overnight, and in my opinion Dodge trucks are on the low-side quality wise. They've made huge steps in recent years, but it's gonna take more of that to make people like me take a chance on them.

Finally someone caught on over at Chrysler and made the push to bring their trucks back to the glory days. Dodge left many a bad taste in peoples mouths because of leadership arrogance in problems with their vehicles. Now they are making a concerted effort to turn things around to the extent of wiping away the moniker. There is no more "Dodge" in Chrysler trucks. They are simply called "Rams" and not even "Dodge Rams". Sort of starting with a clean slate. Time will tell.

I don't know about anyone else but anything with the word "Fiat" in it kind of diminishes its stature for me. This includes Fiat/Allis bulldozers. I mean c'mon: calling a bulldozer a "Fiat" and then naming it "Alice"? Sounds like it couldn't push a pile of sugar. ( I hope no 41B's get wind of my post)
