I am hoping one of you guys have a few specs you can share. I would like to get a skid steer snowblower for the front of my 110. However, the front hydraulic port doesn't have enough flow at only 10-12 gpm. Does anyone know the flow rate of the power beyond/backhoe hydraulic circuit? Can you use this to run a snowblower? I assume it is a low or no pressure return. The total flow for the tractor is rated at 23.6 gpm, but if I remember right there are multiple pumps.

I am not worried about using the backhoe since the ground is frozen anyways. I also realize the rated flow rates are optimistic.

Thank you

I rember looking into this a couple of years ago and couldn't find much information except that the front couplers were rated for 12 gpm and the rear hoe auxillary were rated for 16gpm. Because of this I decided to go with the PA30 auger mounted on the hoe as it si rated for 15 to 30gpm I am at the bare minimum to use it. Running something such as a snow blower off the power beyond curcuit I suspect you might be able to get a tad more than the 16gpm, thats just my guess. A good skidsteer will have much more flow available than the 110 has so don't expect to be able to use many larger hydraulic motor driven attachments on your 110.

You would also need large hoses and a valve setup since the PB flows all the time, it would get costly.

16GPM at 3000 PSI and 80% efficiency is ~26HP. 26HP will push a 5' blower well and can push a bigger one under the correct conditions.
A valve to control that (such as https://www.surpluscenter.com/item.asp?item=9-6759&catname=hydraulic) could be mounted in the cab (or where linkage could run into the cab).
You would need a 6.8 cubic inch motor to get 540RPM out of 16GPM @ 3000 PSI.

Any way to use the PTO to run a remote hydraulic pump? Could shut the blower down by killing the PTO...?? Just a thought. The right pump may deliver more gpm flow.

Sure, but thats even more money! You would need a PTO pump, a large tank, possibly a cooler, and still need the valve and large hoses.

Not good! Would cost a small fortune! Sorry for wasting a perfectly good spot for someone with common sense to answer..haha!!

You could but you wouldn't accomplish anything imo, the 33 hp pto would not produce much more than the built in pumps.

Nope... that's a perfectly good idea! That approach was used on many tractor's with limited hydraulic output. Lot's of Farmhand loader's etc. around the country with a 15-20 gallon reservoir mounted on the rear frame and plumbed into the pto pump. Intermittent use, however... so, the operating temps were manageable.
