More money in the fresh market...!! But - you're telling me there's not a single canning facility in that part of the country? Or a freezing plant? Many years ago I worked with my uncle in Minnesota and the area farms had a suitable climate and soils to raise commercial sweet corn, green beans, etc. as well as dried bean varieties. The Green Giant company had a processing facility that froze and canned the local production.

There is mostly canning facilities over here for blueberries and strawberries over here. Mostly berries. Two bigger berry places that buy berries from the smaller farmers about 5 minutes away from me.

Lucerne Foods has a processing or canning facility about 30 minutes away from me, they have two giant Oxbo harvesters at their yard its like almost 2 7230R's

Edward I must say that is one sweet sounding machine. I especially like the IVT option.

I think it will be a nice tractor too. It sits about 10' wide + , with my tiller all folded up the tractor will still be wider. So I can get between fields quickly and not swerving around to get crammed in to one lane for on coming traffic.

For IVT I'm not sure because I hope the transmission lasts because for a new transmission, it isn't very cheap for it. Its a very big dent in the pocket if it fails. If it does, hopefully during warranty.

It is a VERY, very expensive transmission! But... it's also been used for many years, too. So, hopefully you'll have years of trouble-free "clutchless" back and forth -- go, very, very fast -- tractoring!

Very very fast indeed! I just hope it doesn't fail on me. I do like the idea of not using the clutch. On other sites someone has mentioned on their 7230R they go 35 MPH!!! :D
