Hi guys. I fueled up my 2320 today and 30 seconds later it quit. Won't start. If I pump the hand pump I can get it going for about 30 seconds but not at full speed. No fuel comes in the filter when I pump the hand pump. I though it was ice but I put deicer in and waited an hour but no luck. It just doesn't just doesn't seemed to pump on its own. Any suggestions?

Did you run the tank completely empty?
If it is ice, maybe you could try pointing a salamander or heater on the engine then the hand pump.
Restoring a tractor years ago in the winter, the transmission was filled with ice.
We covered tractor in the barn with a tarp and put electric heaters under the tractor.
Don't let the tarp get too close to the heater (2x4 props)
try towing it indors to a warmer area.

You did not say if your tractor has the benefit of a heated garage or not or if your located in an area where you could even use one. My 2320 is stored under a leanto outside and had similar problems about 2 winters ago. Temperatures were only in the low 20s (Fahrenheit) but very humid. The fuel had jelled and I had to add a de-jelling agent (not deicer),change the fuel filter, and let it sit overnight to allow the de-jelling stuff to work before it would run again.

I had been blowing snow for an hour before I fueled up. Left it running while refueling. Then it stalled. And yes I did put deisel in not gas.LOL

Might be worthwhile to try again in the afternoon when temperatures are higher if you can schedule it that way. Otherwise getting the tractor where it is warmer may be necessary. Might need to blow backwards on the fuel line to clear it enough to get a flow going repeatedly. Since the fuel tank is small I would probably drain it back into a can and strain it. When adding fuel with small containers I always leave a quart or so in the can then take the spout off and look at it for contaminents before dumping the last of it into the tractor. This has saved me some grief more than once, takes a little more time but is much better than getting sediment in the tractor.

Has this been resolved yet? You have good advice already. Fuel jelling or ice crystal build up is more than likely. Around here wouldnt have been much warm enough for anything to clear up on it own . I had similar issues two times over a dozen years with my 4100. Both times it was running, one time it just quit while I was plowing my 300 ft driveway. Would fire up but wouldnt stay running. The other time I was on the road coming back from my sidework of snow removal down at the school here in town. Started running rough and was losing power badly didnt think I was going to make it back the last quarter mileup my hill and into to the yard. I suggest disasmble and clean the fuel filter get all the junk out then you can easily see if the fuel flows from the tank. Worth using anti gelling agents for winter use.

It is resolved. Took the line off at the injection pump and blew back through. It was either ice or dirt. Runs perfect now. Thanks for the tips.
