Tanks Bye.....just so ya know, I gots a bunch a Newfies stayin in my park all summer long....ya picks up some a da lingo, lol.
And I should thank you for your videos.... I have almost as many LED and strobe lights as you do... and its your fault...
Stay warm... looking forward to more videos!!!

I always said I get blamed for everything I do  your as close to being a Newfie as I've ever seen

I wish you could send some of that snow down here but keep the wind. I have a new blower and want to try it out. So far we haven't had a tenth of an inch of snow. I am about 60 min south of Chicago. We use to get a lot of snow. I blame it on the nuclear triangle. I have 3 nuke stations with in 15 miles. We can have a storm coming right at us and as it gets close it either falls apart or changes direction. Yesterday it was 58 deg go figure:thumbdown:
Bill

Wow so its strange weather patterns around you as well. You could be right on your observation. All the snow we got in this storm is melting now
Great hearing from you Bill

Maybe you should design haute couture tractors for Armani, de la Renta, Yves St. Laurent, or any of the other fashion snobs that may want to branch out into tractors.

Wind sucks!

Ah Matt. You crack me up  I despise wind too.

Yup, the Boyd Coddington of the tractor scene. Could happen.

Well the part two uploaded.

Nice work, Paul! I liked seeing not only the snow removal, but the local scenery where you live and work, as well. I noticed you had gloves and a coat on- maybe you exaggerated about working in a tee shirt? (Just trying to make us cab-free guys even more jealous?)
Are you happy with the LED lights- in that wet blowing snow, if the lights were going to get covered/blocked with snow, you would have noticed it. It's foggy and in the 50's around here today. Almost (almost) makes me wish for some snow. I gotta be careful what I wish for, since we've had storms here that have dumped 30+ inches of snow overnight, and it really wasn't all that much fun cleaning out the lane. I've got 700' of gravel, all sloping, hemmed in by banks and vegetation on both sides.

I agree with varmint, the oceanside view lets us understand why you deal with so much wind. I hope things settle down for you soon. :)

For those that had trouble with the link Paul provided ( I did) here is the link again

Part two First storm for 2013 - YouTube

Wow that is a mess Paul. I have seen snow like that a few times here in my life, but we normally don't get that much at one time. Your Kubota sure works well, you have really got the right tools for the job.

Good observation my friend BUT I had to make a note to myself not to wear a t-shirt in the cab because there will always be someone who needs a push or tow during a storm. As for the gloves it's the same plus the fact I have to use the QC system. Oh and for other Newfoundlands out there that might be reading this that includes wearing just boxers during a storm  Very mild here today as well. Great hearing from you my friend

Thank you sir. It's really hard to do these video's during a major storm event because there's so much to deal with plus having to operate a camera. I'll admit it's not a very polished video but you guys get the drift (excuse the pun) I try and include some of the sceanery to break up any boring tractor plowing. Thanks for your comment :)

Great videos Paul! I noticed that you still drive with your flashers on, even with all of your safety lighting. Personally, I found it less confusing for other motorist if I left my flashers off while using my safety lights. That way my blinkers are more obvious when turning or making lane changes. Just an observation. I'm with you on safety first though. Keep it up!

The wife and I enjoyed watching part two of your video, thanks for the great tips on plowing as well. I love your camera setup, just like being in the cab with you minus the bumps! :D Just back in from final clean-up, the rain sure took its' share of the snow. Oh well, just makes room for more! :cool2:
