How often do you give it a bath?

In 17 years, mine has only been washed twice, wheels pressure washed once. Leaf blower used on radiator & rest of tractor... too many times to count. When not working it lives under a shed roof.

Water under pressure is the worse thing for seals, pumps, bearings, and hidden areas.

Same here... I keep mine in a heated garage. If I'm out doing work and it gets really dirty, I'll bring it home and fire up the power washer. I then pour in some multi purpose detergent. I pop the hood and hit all the little hard to reach areas. I'll rise and towel dry after. When I use the power washer, I'll only use the lightest possible PSI as to not hurt the finish.

After, I usually sit in a chair and have a beer while I stare at my shiny tractor :)

Sounds like my routine:thumbsup:

Mine is 5 yrs old and has been truly washed and waxed a couple times. But, this year it has been put to work in some really muddy and manure conditions, looks pretty bad right now but way too cold to do anything about it. As soon as it warms up she gets a good power washing and if time permits a waxing. Going to have to at least use a hose and some elbow grease very soon to get the mud off so I can grease.

Pressure wash when it is real dirty...couple times a year.

When I get the power washer hooked up to wash anything, I usually wash any of the tractors that are dirty. And now with the extreme use of road chemicals for ice melting here in the northeast during wintertime, I make sure to do the under carriage of the B3030--my winter Kubota. The state and local authorities are using the chemicals in order to save money on sand removal in the spring. The 18-wheelers stuck on the hills of the interstate don't appreciate these savings one bit.

Mine is garage kept, and I too am **** about the way its kept so.......I wash and wax it pretty frequently. I also make sure all grease fittings are topped of every 10 hours (sometimes sooner) and all excess grease is wiped off. A few friends think I'm crazy and say stuff like "Its just a tractor! its supposed to get dirty" to which I reply "yes it is, but I like my tractor to look like new and I cant stand for it to stay dirty long so its getting a bath!". They just shake their heads. I love to sit back afterwards and admire my Orange beauty! Nothing like it if you ask me! :smurf:

On the Massey almost never. Maybe once every few years. Just leave it outside for the rain to remove the dust.

The Case don't get dirty so it gets a wipedown and a waxing 2 times a year.

My wife washes my tractor every week....usually on Sunday when I'm drinking a beer and watching a game. If the wheels are real dirty....she's uses her tooth brush. She's a good woman! Man....I hope she don't read this!

Why wouldn't you want her to read this. You're a lucky man. When my wife does that I'm usually in doing the laundry and mopping the floors and doing the dishes! Oh and I almost forgot the sewing that needs to be done:wink wink:
(We never do any of those things, really)
