I should add my uncle has a boat with a 25hp Johnson It is around 15 to 20'. I haven't been on it In a long time but I remember us almost running out of gas in the middle of the lake. We barely made it in.

In my younger days, I owned ski boats and several PWC'S.The best riding PWC (in my opinion) was the seadoo. Only craft I own now is a Triton fishing boat

I agree with that. Seadoo seams like the best to me. Those Kawasaki standup jetskis are a lot of fun..if you can stay on them without falling.

I have a 1990 Sea ray laguna CC 18.5', She aint new, but floats good and runs great for her age. I have added the Humminbird 798Disi and a GFX1700 radio and that is about it.

When I was younger I like fishing for" Green carp/ Ditch pickles" (Black bass) and had 16-18 bass boats, then once got into the 35' lake boat "thang". Now I enjoy Hybrid striper/striper fishing mostly so the SeaRay is perfect for that. If/when I get some debt paid off, we may spring for a new CC boat.

I'm fifty four and have a pair of Sea Doo's, I get on one and ride like I'm twenty, the next day I feel like I'm eighty.:cool2:

2004 MasterCraft VRS210 and a picture of what we usually do with it. My youngest son wakesurfing behind it. Last picture is a little Sea Nymph we picked up from the neighbors. I was more interested in the trailer, but the boat came along for the ride.

That summed up just about every ride I've been on in one sentence.

I started riding PWC in the mid 80's when a couch was a rarity and I think "seadoo" was still only making snowmobiles.

The two 3 person machines I have are mostly for guests and to waterski behind. To me, going out for a day on a sitdown is boring unless I'm just going into a new area and want to site see. I MUCH prefer the challenge and action of a standup. The main reason standups fell from popularity was because they have to be light and the 2 stroke is pretty much a thing of the past in it's simplest form. The other reason is that it actually takes skill to ride one. There is a learning curve and most people are not interested in investing the time to learn, they would rather just sit there, squeeze the throttle and ride fast. Plus, they can't ride a standup and hold their beer at the same time.

AroniaFarmer - the Wellcraft has a 200 hp Johnson OceanPro 2 stroke. It is the one that came on the boat.
