We dont get them that big "really", our biggest was caught in 1999 and was 53lbs, the average is allot less. BUT we do have numbers:laughing:

Santee cooper in So. Carolina has some no foolin' catfish that are big enough to eat you or me....great fishing as is Kerr pronounced " Karr " Lake in NC....I have fished it...I used to live in Henderson, NC.

I have fished in both of the Lakes you mentioned. There is a section of Santee Cooper where the two bridges are-coming and going. I used to catch a lot of Stripers at that junction. I have also fished most of the TVA Lakes. I really think that fishing has benefited our marriage. My Wife loves fishing. Although She can't go anymore, we still have OUR memories.
