Spring Weather

As spring rapidly approaches, I grow increasingly concerned about the odd and sometimes dangerous weather patterns we've had in recent years. Last night, we had our first thunderstorm of the year, and I have little doubt that it will get much worse very soon.

Perhaps we'll all get lucky and it will be a mild spring, but I somehow doubt it. I just hope there isn't another tornado outbreak like there has been in seasons past.

Some of our concerns for spring,warm days quick snow melts cause over flowing streams/rivers leads to ice jams,plus still frozen road culverts.

Some of our concerns for spring,warm days quick snow melts cause over flowing streams/rivers leads to ice jams,plus still frozen road culverts.

Flooding is also a concern for many people in my area. While it would take a biblical flood to reach my home (been there done that), the area where our driveway meets the main road is prone to being blocked by spring floods.
