Dose any one load thier tractor in a rack body?

No reason it can't work with a quality set of ramps and a little planning. I know an excavating contractor who used to haul a Cat D6 9U on a GMC twin screw flatbed. but that's another story altogether.

Provided the load is legal it should be fine.
Alloy ramps are definitely the way to go if you're "man handling" them & not setting up air or hyd lift cylinders - just be certain to have a "positive" engagement system on the truck to secure the ramps so they don't slip when loading ( lynch pins or similar clamping on the truck mounts)
Also when loading most machines it's better for balance/traction to reverse up the ramps & also better centres the machine weight between the truck axles - rated load tie downs should be used to secure both the machine & ramps.

My concern would be the high CG which will lead to a poor handling truck that could possibly be dangerous.

Very good point, that would definitely be a factor. I know back when I had a monorail on a 1 ton flatbed, it alone affected the handling. Throw on a tall heavy load and you had some serious pucker factor involved with a quick move of the steering wheel. Definitely needs to be considered.

Whether it was a comfortable haul would really depend on if you could get enough weight over and in front of the rear axle. We used to ramp load an International 100 track loader (about 18K) into the back of a dump truck back in the seventies. The ramps were heavy aluminum jobbers. Even with a 10-wheeler you could feel the weight up high.

This dual cab truck's legal with tray/tools for 4.2T the Gehl 4640 skiddie weighs in @c.2.9T (the posted photo makes the machine look bigger than it is ).
Normally we transport the Skiddie's & CTL's & up to 10T excavators/crawlers in our 6x4 or 8x4 tippers like the one pictured below - anything larger we hook on a tag trailer or for the big gear use a drop deck/low loader semi)

If you have good ramps and good tie downs you should be fine. I've hauled a B7610 Kubota in the bed of my F-250 before and it was pretty uneventful.
