Thanks for the info.

I swear...from diesel Land Cruiser pickups to cabover dumps and semis, you guys have all the cool trucks.

Funny how the "grass is always greener over the fence.." -& we reckon the USA has the coolest trucks & pick up's; there's no Ford F series, GMC's, Rams or Chev's distributed by the manufacturers over here & a specially imported RHD converted dually sets us back c.$130K+....the CabOver/COE's we run are also due to length restrictions, on our "third world" roads a bonneted truck gives a much smoother cab ride for the operator....

Seeing you like Landcruiser pick ups, here's a shot of our highly modified custom 6x6, one of only a handfull converted to 6x6 in the country :-

Very nice LC you have there! I had a '71 FJ40 with a Chevy V8 and FJ60 axles (full floater rear) that I used as a rockcrawler for years. I sold it in a moment of weakness a few years ago. Had a '68 FJ40 and a FJ55 wagon as well. I do love LC pickups though.

What you need to do is figure out how to modify a rollback truck bed to dump too.

It would seem that with all the hydraulics, it would be possible to make hinges for the bed so that if the hinges were locked, the bed would dump, and if they were unlocked, it would roll it back for vehicle loading.

I'm trying to imagine if there would be a way to build a trailer that would handle both your chipper and your loader without getting in the way of loading the chipper. You could, of course, load the chipper from one side or the other, but having a long trailer would certainly be a problem.

On occassion I have deflated the rear tires to make the ramp angle safer. If you have a decent compressor handy.
