Lost a big pin off my Bush Hog Model 307

It is about an inch & a quarter in diameter by 12 inches or so long. Have searched w/a metal detector but can't locate it. My Kubota dealer where I bought it wants $125 for a new one. Do I have any other/cheaper options?

I would buy a pc of round bar from mcmaster.com and make my own replacement. They have many types of alloys to choose from. This is just one example. http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-steel-rods/=m2926k

I have a 307; what pin are you talking about? Is the dealer from whom you bought it a BH dealer?

I would look at Tractor Supply, then Ebay.
Would something like CountyLine® Red Head Hitch Pin, 1-1/8 in. dia. - Tractor Supply Online Store be long enough?

Kubota dealer has to be buying @ retail from a Bush Hog dealer then adding $$$.
Lower lift pin for a 307 Cat II /III hitch should be $100 or so and that's too much.
