Watcha eating?

Lentil Sloppy Joe's and new recipe carrot cake.

I love both lentils and Sloppy Joe's but I never have seen them as part of the same dish. Interesting.

OMG...Sloppy Joes, Spaghetti and meat balls and Pizza with tomato sauce are like eating liquid fire for me. Not so bad now that the old gall bladder is gone, but my type "O" constitution rebels at that stuff.

The lentil sloppy joe's were great however the (vegan/no oil) carrot cake recipe will need some of my serious tweaking before it can be served to guest. Good thing our little raised bed 4x8 garden produced 500 organic carrots to practice with. (we should have thinned them more)

TYPE "O". 2lanecruzer do you do the blood type diet. I read up on it and with my blood type I'm supposed to drink plenty of milk, I am so lactose intolerant so that is about as far as I looked into it.

Nope; I wasn't aware there was a blood type diet...I had heard that "O" blood types were particularly susceptible to heartburn, but hadn't researched it. I did come out of college with a degree in biology and chemistry, but never heard of such a thing until recently. Guess I'll look into it. Thanks for the info.

Don't waste too much time - it is one of those fad diet that is interesting enough to sell books but lacks everything else.

Chopped up a sweet onion into little dices and then cook them a bit in butter. Usually I don't use butter but it was needed for the next step.

We had left over mashed potatoes so I mixed in the cooked onions and made potato/onion cakes cooked in the butter. :licking::licking::licking: Then I scrambled some eggs with some of the onions. :licking::licking::licking: I was going to drink yesterday's left over coffee but figured this breakfast was too good for day old coffee. :D:D:D

Later,
Dan

Yeah, they claim there is a genetic factor involved...I intend to explore that aspect; otherwise, the critics are saying there is no evidence to support a basis for such a diet. I do know that I have always been a meat eater, and that I never cared much for bread and grains (God's gift to man...beer excepted).
