Im having trouble with my jd mower- when i shut it off, it will not restart----pulled air filter and found about 1/4 inch of fuel laying underneath it- soaked it up with a paper towel, left it set about 20 min and it started right up-----has new sparkplugs, air filter, fuel filter------did this a couple times last summer also-20 hp twin cyl Kawasaki, has 600 hrs on it, bought in 2002 i think. Carb is preset a factory and book says no adj there-------any ideas on where i need to be looking would be appreciated. Afraid the whole thing will catch fire----------------------Jimbo

I have a GT 225, Kohler 16, so it's a bit different. Is the air filter lower than the carb? Almost sounds like your carb is leaking some. You might need a rebuild kit. I also have a 325 and the filter is on top. strange that the fuel is going UP?
