Concerns in south korea region owning our tractors?

Been watching the news as of late with all of the tensions in S/N korea if all **** breaks loose I wonder how parts availability will be?Anyone else have this thought?coobie

Thought about it. But, it is not 1957 any more. North Korea would be quickly neutralized. I doubt there would be any holding back if they strike. They are all bluff anyway. If not..... I wonder if Sadam is sorry for going into Kuwait.

I'm sure the North would like very much to be the new supplier of your tractor parts. Of course, they may glow a little in the dark, but what the hay, that's why I buy American brands. I suspect that Japanese parts will also be affected negatorially, but then there are the friendly Chinese, always willing to help out their American colonists.

When I was shopping for a CUT, I came to the conclusion that American CUTs do not exist, at least not recent ones.

N. Korea could cause havoc in Seoul with artillery, many deaths. Retaliation is problematic; there are few targets in N. Korea that are worth more than the weapons needed to destroy them. Realistically, I expect the Chinese to moderate the situation; war would not be good for China. The real problem comes if the new N. Korean "leadership" believes their own propaganda.

Re N. Korea, reminds me of the "What if they held a war and nobody came?" bumper sticker. We should just ignore them, If they actually initiate force to get our attention, we've proven we can respond with overwhelming force but not invade (my recommendation). Just ignore them.

This past January my son and family took an assignment in S. Korea south of Seoul. Received an email from the DIL recently where yes the N Koreans are sabre rattling but my son is not on alert. If he goes on alert then it is time to think of getting out. His office is just down the hall from the Battalion Commander. This past weekend I met an AF guy that controls AF C5's and C17's. He said if they get the call to evacuate he will put every available resource and then some to the task. For my part that is nice to know. So apparently they are not worried about the situation right now.
