When I bought my 7010 the dealer tried to sell me a 7030 that he had received from another dealer that couldn't sell it. He made me a real good price on it too. I just didn't need the extra HP. Heck I was looking for a 50 HP when I got the 7010. I maybe should have looked at it to see if it had the power shuttle as that would have been worth the extra money.

I didn't really need 88 HP or 40 forward speeds either but the power shuttle is sweet! I took the fel off and here some more shots.

Dang.. Big Sexy. Looks good. Now if I could just fit the HP and Loader (+ hydraulics) on my frame ...

Man that is a sweet tractor. Wouldn't fit in the garage though and I am not building a new one! Heck I might not even have enough room to turn it around!

Nice tractor!! How big is that disc harrow?

It's a little more than 8 feet wide and around 1800 lbs. I wanted to be able to transport it down the road with a pickup without drawing too much attention.

As far as turning radius I was pleasantly surprised how well it does, especially with the fel off. I can spin it around in the drive no problem. I'm a happy guy.

I have set off the transmission "cutoff alarm" a few times, it's a good reminder to NOT ride the clutch with the power shuttle. It's taken a little getting used to when hitching up an implement, especially on an incline. Of course there was nothing in the manual about it and the first time it happened it was quite a start, the alarm is REALLY loud!

Could someone explain the power shuttle, as opposed to the regular shuttle shift? I couldn't find an explanation at the LS site.

I know you want to toe that disc down the road, but isn't that tractor rated for a much much larger disc?

With a regular shuttle you have to use the clutch to change from forward to reverse and come to a stop. With a power shuttle you do not, you can just step on the brake without using the clutch and move the forward reverse lever. I believe that you need to use the clutch to change gears though. Hopefully someone with a power shuttle will chime in and confirm this. ;)
