Reducer bushing for 3 point hitch lower lift arm

I am looking for a category one - two reducer bushing that is at least 3 inches in length. All that I have been able to find are 1 3/4 - 2".

In some of my projects I've needed them longer also. Never have found any. I usually buy extras, cut em up, and weld two together to get the right length. Pain in the butt and time consuming.

I'm rural so don't have access to fancy metal shops. If you do have that access you might find some tubing the right diameter and wall thickness and cut your own to length??

Post a fix if you find one!!!

Thanks, I have considered buying the tubing if I can find some and cutting it. I will check with one of the local machine shops and see if they have any. I checked online and no one seems to have them any longer than the standard length. Thanks for the response.

You can get DOM tubing in 1-1/8 OD by just over 7/8 ID from most of the online small quantity metal distributors. Should be less than $10/foot.

For lift arms, wouldn't you need some sort of pin to keep the bushing from just slipping off the Cat 1 pin? Seems like you's need a hole in the bushing where the Cat 1 clip would go and have a pin just the size of the bushing OD. I'm searching for such a solution so I can connect my Cat 2 lift arms to my Cat 1 plow, which has the pins cast in to the cross bar of the plow. No way to replace pins. Any thoughts? I suppose another option is to chain the lift arms in toward each other.

Nope.
Just went thru that process -
Cat 1 plow, cat 2 M4700. Bought 2 sets of bushings from Messicks for a pittance, they are working fine. They are blocked on 1 side by the plow and on the other side by the clips which go into the cat 1 clevis/bar/hitch pin.

And remember the top link pin is a different size.
