The farm tractor version would be a 454, 464, or a 484 and the farm version of the loader would have been a model 2000 or a 2001. All including the 2400 had 3-cylinder 179 cubic inch diesel engines The 574 was the next larger size with a 4-cylinder 239 cubic inch diesel engine and would be comparable to a 2500 industrial tractor. The I-H 2400 is the industrial version painted yellow and the farm version painted red. There was a 2400A and a B series and a later model which was called a 240 industrial tractor. All the industrial models were available as a bare tractor, with a loader, or as a tractor-loader-backhoe combination. I sold hundreds of the industrial models; however, I didn't sell agricultural tractors or equipment.
