New Kubota Kommander ZG100-Series

That's really interesting. I wonder if it's a more common problem that's not specific to Kubota? While I know some folks are turned off by a recall on a new model introduction, I'm not really turned off by it as long as they come up with a good fix to address the issue.

I still need to make it out to my dealer to take it for test drive (the dealer has one on the lot they said I can demo.) If I like it, I might just sell my Cub Cadet GT2544 (great tractor, but I hate the lack of power steering combined with a wide turning radius) and move to a zero turn for mowing. While I would like to go with the Kubota diesel engine instead of the gas powered one, I just don't have a ton of money left over after purchasing the B3350. The ZG100 series seems like it fits in just the right price bracket and seems to offer a lot of mower for not much money.

Just under an acre, so I don't really need a huge machine. If anything, my yard is littered with obstacles so maneuverability is more important than cutting width.

Thanks. The reason why I asked is I have 3 acres of grass minus the area covered by the house, driveway, and outbuilding. I didn't know if the ZG100 would be "big" enough to cut my grass. With my wife having me plant more and more shrubs, flowers, etc. it's getting that I'm using the push mower a lot more then the B3030 to finish up. A zero turn would certainly speed things up. Stanley, if I were in your shoes and had that much grass to cut, then I'd probably look at getting a larger Kubota zero turns as well. Maybe one of the ZG200 or ZG300 models?

Although, I'm in the same boat as you - I'm thinking the zero turn would speed up my mowing time (based on maneuverability alone) and reducing the amount of hand mowing I still need to do afterwards (around flower beds, edging, etc.; where I just can't get close enough with on my existing garden tractor.)
