I had read a couple of posts about coating floor on mx because it gets trashed and begins to rust.I have a friend who sprays bedliners and said he could spray floorboard plate.Have it 99 percent done but cant remove with clutch and brake pedals without removing pto lever down by right foot.It has an allen head slot but goes all the way through .Do i have to loosen both sides before removal or an easier way.So close and losing patience fast.Any suggestions?:confused2:

The pedal at your right heel is the differential lock. PTO is on the right fender behind the position lever for the 3 pt hitch.

Not sure how to remove the pedal but Messick's has exploded view parts diagrams online. It should help explain disassembly.

Been considering Berliner on my MX5100 too. The paint wears off after a few hours. Mine has 80 hours and needs repainting.

I wonder if the rubber mat for the M59 could be cut to fit? A rubber mat is softer on the feet and a cinch to put on. Ours has 400 hrs with no wear and no rust.

Yes, I went with rubber stall mat from TSC. Took about 1 hour to cut it to fit and bolt it down. Couldn't be happier with it.

It will cut easily with a razor knife. I used 1/4" nuts and bolts with washers from TSC to bolt it down to the floorboard of my tractor. Here are some pics on a different post after I completed the job.

Thanks. I haven't looked at the stall mats closely but from a distance they appear to be tough. If a razor knife will cut them easily, that's the way to go. I'll repaint my deck and try the stall mat
