Missing thread

Yesterday (5/5/13) I started a thread titled "Internet Sales Tax" in the Rural Living forum. There were many replies but today the thread is missing. What happened to it?

Probably moved to the politics forum. You have to request access to it, I can't see it either and replied to that thread.

Actually, you can "opt in" to see the politics forum yourself as seen on the sticky in this forum:

As the "missing" thread, that would be "Public discussion of moderation policies" which is forbidden but history and TBN policy would point to it either being removed, or put into the Politics forum.

Yes, I have access and also thought it may have been classified as "political" and moved but it's not there. Did a search of all forums and it's MIA.

Update: the thread has now mysteriously appeared in the Friendly Politics forum. It must have been temporarily hiding in the TBN Purgatory forum? :confused3:

When a message gets moved to a forbidden forum, it would be helpful to change the "topic not found" message.

Perhaps something like this.

Topic not found.
It may have been moved to one of the extended forum sections.

The problem being if the thread is moved to a "TBN Purgatory" forum (as this one was initially) that wont help.
If it is moved to an "opt-in" forum leaving behind a redirect (like the one for the John Deere M vs. E series thread that was started in New Member Introductions ) and otherwise leave the error message as-is.
