Forgot about this one, have been noticing it over the last 10 years or so..
You start becoming older than doctors.
Doc's used to be older guys in a white coat with a stethoscope.
Now, more and more, they seem to be "young" guys/girls in their late twenties/early thirties.
Although when I go back home, I still run into my pediatrician, he treated me from birth till I left home at 18.
He is around 85 yo now, no longer practices but still gives medical/non-medical advice, holds court daily at the local watering hole
He was Marcus Welby before Robert Young, house calls, black Doc's bag, no bills - pay me when you can, let's talk about this ...., inspired confidence and trust, a true gentleman. Picture Robert Duval in "Phenomenon" or Burt Lancaster/Dr. Graham in "Field of Dreams".
