You can tell your old when you go to fill in a form on a computer that asks for your date of birth and you have to scroll to the bottom of the page to find the year.

And you know you are ready for retirement when your workmates start calling you "old man" or "old boy" instead of by your name. ( but when they don't know something they always come and ask you for the answer :laughing: )

Two decades ago I was working on a team and one of the guys had been working for quite a few decades. A group of us would eat lunch and take a walk when the weather was nice and on said walk, this guy mentioned that he had been hired in 19xx. I said that was the year I was born! :shocked::laughing::laughing::laughing: Everyone laughed.

Now the tables have turned and I am getting to be the old guy.

... when your huntin'/shootin' buds don't know what the word 'sophomore' means.

... when they call you 'old-fashioned' 'cuz the brim of you hat is on the front, and you wonder how they knew you're favorite 'cocktail', not even realizing they're old enough to drink.

... when the word 'cocktail' only means an IED to them & they wonder why you'd sip on an explosive.

Or...
you require a 3 digit year, and they only give you 2 digits.

I.E.
Are there computer programs that don't accept ages of 101 years?
Birth dates of 1899?
Can't differentiate between someone born in 1909 and 2009?
