My Kubota L5740 will use over 3.5 gph working hard and about 1.5 gph plowing snow.

Stupid Landini is thirsty.
Right at 2.6 GPH when running the cannon sprayer or Brush bull.
Thankfully the 540/750/1000 PTO, can be used for rotovating and other things that don't need as much grunt.
The new 5425N sips fuel. I'm still not sure I understand how, but so far it looks like 1.5 GPH under a moderate load, but I'll take it!
The grand champ is our Ford 1920, that gets used as a PTO pump mule, for transferring irrigation pond water.
Run her 8 hours under a near max load, pushing a 3" line at 60 psi, on approx. 5 Gallons. She ain't new, big, or pretty, but that one isn't going anywhere for a long while.

@Dingeryote: You bring back memories of 'manning' the manure pumping tractor. We didn't transfer water...we pumped out the manure pit ontot the fields at the pig farm. (3500 pig operation). Stinky stinky.

I worked a buddys parents Hog Ranch as a kid, and pumped plenty of pig **** into the spreader.
The stuff coming outta the farrowing house, on a Sat. Morning, after an all night beach party, was always "special".
400 or so is bad enough.

Naah i worked on pig farms and cleaning out poultry units for decades .......Not as strong but There is nothing more sickening to the gut than horse **** ..i cant see how people can eat those **** things

When I was a young'un (early 20's) I used to muck out 20 head of horses, daily. I always liked the smell of horses way better than pigs or chickens. I've cleaned hen house after the winter, too. How sweet it aint!
On the fuel consumption, the CK27 HST doing lots of loader work is about .9gph. Snow blower work it is about the same more or less. I blow for about 1.5 hours and only fuel when the guage is nearing the half tank mark, it takes about three times out blowing to get to that mark.
