Bitter lesson learned. Power washers and L&G powered Eqpt simply do not mix. May as well figure om going thru every wire connection on that machine, particularly where you blasted it earlier - to clean to bright metal w/sandpaper or emory cloth. May also have to check air cleaner, carb and crankcase for presence of water.

My 1250 has always started but last week I decided that it needed some pampering. Gave the engine a bath with a power washer. has not started since. No spark , coil seems to test ok with ohm meter. Seems like a simple fix by drying out. Still wont start. Any ideas

Let's make something perfectly clear MURPHY1244. I quoted the original OP because the current OP quoted him. Dates had nothing to do with my answer. My answer was directed to the current OP dated this month. I don't know what your motive is trying to stir up ****, but I suggest you drop it. I was trying to help the guy. You however where doing nothing but trying to confuse and redirect. If you want to keep trolling me and badgering, it only shows you have no class and your clear motive.
The current response to the ORGINAL OP led me to believe he might have electrical issues as well as fuel. Get over yourself. My reply may not have appeared as replying to the current question and I probably could have posted it differently for members as yourself to comprehend my intention. =rk=
