Hello All,
I started up the tractor (2005 Jinma 304) today to brush hog after about 2 Months of sitting, had a few issues
1. When I started the motor, all guages worked just fine, then all of the sudden, the fuel guage, temperature guage and oil pressure all went to zero, only the ampmeter continued working, any clues?

2. The lower radiator hose started leaking and will need replaced, does anyone know a part number to use? or who to get one from.

Oh Yea, this is a one piece guage with all the guages built in

I guess that is all I can think of now, thanks in advance for any help you give

The ammeter is the only one of those that isn't fused. I would check the fuse panel.

Fuse or ground is most likely your gauge issue.

For a hose just take it to a parts store. You can find a hose to cut down and make work. I would replace the top hose also.

Chris, I agree, I will replace both hoses, and I think my tractor is the same as a 284, as far as wiring is concerned, thanks for the schematic and ideas

I second on both recommendations

x3. Instrumentation (less ammeter) are protected by the ACC fuse. If that doesn't fix the problem, open and inspect the multi-pin connectors behind the cluster. Sometimes a good cleaning and/or reseating will restore the circuit. If not, the problem is likely internal to the cluster itself. Is yours rectangular or round, and how many pigtail connectors does it have?

Hello All,
The guages are back up and running, It turns out is was a fuse, thanks for all your help, could not have done this without you all.
When I replace my radiator hoses, is there a special anti-freeze to use with a Diesel motor?
Thanks all
Rick

AFFORDABLE, what is a upper and lower Radiator hose going to set me back?

SCA-type anti-freeze is needed for wet-sleeved diesels, conventional anti-freeze is ok for dry-sleeved. Given that there's not much difference in price, I hedge all bets and use SCA-type in all my diesels.
