You have missed the point. There is an entire class of people who do nothing but buy low and sell high. The increase the cost of goods but generally add nothing. They are parasites.You say this as if the seller of the item sets the price at which the buyer will buy it. I wish! I can set whatever price I want, but I can't "drive up the price" because at a certain point, nobody will buy it. If the original seller under-priced his item, that's too bad for him. What am I missing?

I am not saying we should deny anyone the right to do so. But it is what it is.

More like the farmer who works his butt off all year attempting to break even and the commodity trader who makes a bundle buying and selling the fruits of the farmers labor.![]()
Those are totally different scenarios. $10 is not really a bundle and the farmer is not raising lawnmowers but...
Money makes the world go around. Or would you rather the farmer just gave his crops away, or that the crops rot in the field?
