Sticking hydro pedal

Trade up or sell out, but nothing else is going to FIX this issue UNLESS those currently under warranty fight hard to get Kioti to resolve the issue to your satisfaction.
Don't buy into the easy way out for Kioti. ONLY the owners can influence Kioti and bring about any significant change.

I have a CK30HST (2012) and my pedal is slow to return from going forward. As a result, the tractor does not stop as abruptly as it does from going in reverse. From going forward and releasing the pedal, I can see the pedal slowly returning to neutral in about 2 seconds. This only happens when I've had the pedal fully depressed. It does however return fully and stops and stays.
Is this the same issue being discussed here?

IMO, yes, it's the very start of the issue. It will progress until it is very slow to come back to center and the tractor continues to creep forward, at first just a couple of feet and eventually until you push the pedal backwards. I took (and posted here on TBN) a video of my CK30 driving around the yard with my foot off the pedal.

How does one distinguish between a simple need for lubrication from the reported low pressure issue some have reported?

I never had this issue with my CK20 and never did specific lubrication of the pedal either. I did occasionally notice that the pedal didn't return to neutral but that was uncommon and fixed with a simple tap on the reverse side. My tractor was stored in a barn.

It just seems odd to me that a "low hydraulic pressure" issue could affect only a minority of tractors and that even those tractors worked properly when first delivered.

There's two threads going with the same discussion right now so sorry to repeat myself. It's pretty easy to distinguish between need for lubrication and low pressure, get a pressure gauge and test the pressure!

I've never heard of the issue with the CK20 or CT122. It's lighter, maybe that has something to do with it.

With mine it slowly became sluggish to return... but it always did. Then one day I was moving some snow and I noticed suddenly that it wouldn't return on it's own at all. I had to apply pressure to the 'other' direction to move it to neutral and it has been that way ever since. :( I had lubricated the shaft on occasion, but not regularly. I have since lubricated the shaft as best as possible, checked the functioning of the damper and return springs and they are free and working fine. Still have the issue. I am looking for a pressure gauge to test loader hydraulics, may need to get fittings to check this as well.

What year, model & hours?

Hello!
I think I just posted a CK20HST with the problem, want a video for proof? :confused3:
I did get underneath the tractor and adjust the return plunger a little, loosened the rear nut and the nut at the linkage head and turned the shaft to increase the length (2 turns) and it will stop now and not creep forward (for now) but still has the slow pedal return to center in forward and reverse.

My bad, I remember reading the post now, it just didn't stick I guess, but not much does :) So there you have it, all CK HST models now come with a set of dice.
