Does anyone know where the test port for checking the relief valve setting on a new Holland TC35 is locate. Also where the adjustment for the relief valve is located the loader does not seem to lift like it use to thinking my pressure is too low??
Thanks Baler

You can plug a hyd gage into a FEL cyl QD and check the pressure.

For a more permanent installation, add the hyd gage in a tee in the IN port of the FEL valve.

Do you know where the relief valve is located for increasing the pressure setting??

Yes, it's under your right side operator platform and marked with a book icon. That means to know what you are doing or you'll blow up your pump. If you'd check your pressure as JJ suggested and tell us what it is, then I suspect you might get more help, but nobody wants to help you blow up your pump. On your machine, the maximum pressure is 2250 lb because your pump pressure flange is only two bolts instead of four bolts like the TC40 and TC45. Please find your actual pressure before shimming your relief valve. Don't rely on what it "feels like" compared to before.

There should be a relief valve very close to the IN port of the FEL valve.

If you show a pic of the FEL valve, we can locate it for you.

There is also a relief valve in the 3pt area.

The relief valve on this joystick valve is circled in red.

The relief valve is circled on the two lever spool valve.

Yes , I agree I will put the pressure gage on first and check the pressure, just wanted to adjust it if it was low.
Thanks Much

Dan, once you know your pressure, you can buy a shim kit from New Holland. Each shim will change the pressure by approximately 150 psi. The relief valve is on the bottom of the block with the book icon. That system relief valve sets the pressure for the loader and 3PH. It's the only pressure adjustment for your whole system except for safety relief valves that are always much higher than system pressure in case something heavy inadvertently falls on your loader or 3PH.

Can you check the pressure at the aux. port by just putting the gauge on the hose plug fitting and activating the leveler that operates it>

Yes, that's all there is to it since hydraulic pressure is the same throughout the system. You need to make sure the engine is revved to 2000 rpm or higher. At idle, you'll probably only see around 1600 psi. At least that's what I found on my TC45D. I just made a pressure gage with a quick connect and put it into my rear remote. You can use the loader quick connects, but the fittings are harder to find. The rear remote ( if you have one) is just 1/2" Pioneer.

You should be aware that your tractor has a designed pressure.

It depends on where you check pressure as valves may have different relief settings.

You need to know the tractors advertised pressure, and activate all valves to see what pressure under a load is being developed, and that is predicated mainly on good seals.

If you install the gage in a tee in the IN port of the first valve, you can check all valves to see the pressure from any valve activated.

If the pressure is close to the advertised pressure, then you can assume that the valve you just activated and cyl is operating close to spec.

If your cylinders are leaking, then you will not have the designed pressure and adding shims or adjusting a screw will not help.
