Trying to figure out my new sickle mower. My old 350 Deere the hay would always fall backwards no matter how it was adjusted.. This Sitrex double action seems to be a little more finicky about this. Are you suppose to angle your bar upwards towards the sky to get it to fall backwards? thanks in advance

Try driving faster or increase knife speed

I believe you are. The bar should lean back about 10 degrees. This also helps the rock guards ride up over hidden objects.

Is the knife registered? Should never point below flush, if you have heavy thatch try tilting it up until it runs easy.
