I agree. If it's not a Kevlar belt it won't last.

My old Woods mower went through a lot of belts until my neighbour told me to replace the sheaves (pullies) with new ones that weren't pitted from rust. Princess Auto had them. It was hard work to get them off, but I haven't replaced a belt since.
