I'd been grappling sheared red cedar for 8 hours and needed a change so I dropped the ballast and hung the MX5 on the iMatch and mowed the trails. When I finished I parked the tractor but went to the truck before dropping the MX5. Half way to the truck something out of place caught my eye. It was one of the locking handles for the iMatch. Nice because it saved me a few miles of walking but without it I wasn't able to drop the mower and didn't have room for it on the trailer.

At first the assembly seemed jammed but it turned out the linkage the handle engages needs to go through the hole if there's any hope of getting the lock open. I found if a jammed a t-post against the lock it would retract but I had no pin. I searched the truck for any substitute and found a can opener in the glove compartment. Best part? The little ball on the end of the handle functions as a retainer.

Fixed!

I replaced the roll pin and ran a stainless steel bolt through it with a lock nut and washers somewhat larger than the pin hole.
