If you look behing the hydraulic tank you will see a block that you use to change the machine from just hammer to nibbler when set to hammer on hammer the return line goes directly to tank instead of through the valve. This is to help with heat and restriction on the return side the buttons on the joy stick still work just it will only put flow in one direction. As far as manuals have never say any online Kobelco is picky about that you can get into there website to check for parts but nothing on the service end.

I am going out to look right now. I found a website that has a ton of downloadable manuals for pretty much ever machine out there. But I found one on ebay I think im gonna buy.

Ya not sure if I should buy one from this site but the price is right.

Well, it seems they have just about everything a Kobelco owner would want, but no Mitsubishi excavator. I think Cat did a pretty good job of pulling all the manuals when they took them over.

Ok ya Im gonna buy a hard copy. Printer wants 140 bucks to print all of the pages so I can buy used manual for less.

O and btw. I switched the hydralics around and it was on bypass. So I put the cylinder on it now and it works great.
