Sounds like you guys are getting hammered again today?? We were getting all that crap last month, it's finally moved North enough to miss us now.

I've saw corn like that stand back up. It's pretty durable when that small. Good luck.

Did you get a derecho? Were there a lot of thunderstorms moving in a line across your state? Our friend from W.VA was telling us about the damage they had from one that blew through last year.

I have seen more trees like that the last month or two than I can remember around here too. The funny part how it can just be one or two trees of many in the same location. Looks like we are looking at unstable weather for the month of July too.

Most likely a derecho , enhanced by downburst clusters embedded inside the storm. The loudest thunder I've ever heard.
