Looking to find out what is a fair percentage off of list price. Quoted a 3320 at two dealers and initial non negotiated numbers are coming in at 11% off (JD website) list price.

15% is considered a good deal but JD is known for not dealing.

What I've found to be a big help when dealing on anything is to search the internet for the best price on anything I'm considering to purchase. Then I go to my local dealer and ask for their best price. It's always more than what I've found on the internet, I then politely tell them that I'd like to buy from them but they need to come down to the price I've found on the internet in order for me to do that and then I tell them the price I've found. Don't lie or exagerate the price, tell them the exact price, I even have a copy printed off the internet just in case there's any doubt. I do this for the original purchase only, not for parts as I feel the dealer needs to make his markup on parts to stay in business, which is good for him and for me. Good luck with your purchase!

Somewhere between 15% and 20% off on new tractors is about right. Parts seem to be much harder to get a discount on than the whole goods, I only get 5% off on parts orders.
