Neighbor called the Law on me for shooting

Mostly rain all day here. Not much of anything going on outside today.

I like to shoot my guns as much as the next feller. However I would not want to listen to this going on around my property every day. We are here partly for the piece and quiet and partly for the freedom. I try to think about my neighbors and not go too long with the big guns.

I probably am under suspicion, Larry.
Truth be told, I can't tell you what happens to their dogs, and it could just be Karma. Or, maybe they are finding smarter dogs, and once free, they break camp permanently for a better master. :laughing:

I have never injured any of their dogs, and even the one I went after with the hedge clippers escaped terrified, but otherwise unscathed. He remained just out of my reach, barreling through my hedge, afraid to emerge anywhere but the end, where he ran for his life back home. I barreled through the same hedge, right behind him, but he was a bit faster, always just out of reach. He knew it too...he was scared to death the entire time we were in the hedge. Once I found the fearful puppy in him, I poured it on hard to make sure he didn't regain his adult dog composure.

This weekend just a few things over conversation left my yard.

I had to trim the bushes and hedges. So the two stroke trimmers could be heard.
I used a tractor to move a heavy implement.
I used my ATV to move firewood.
I used my chain saw to trim some branches in the yard.

Not trying to annoy anyone just normal activities. All done within 930am and 8pm most of the weekend off an on.

When I get home and grab that sack of cubes, I bet all the neighbors can hear our cows. Some of em have foghorns in their throats I think.

Sounds like a typical gun stealing obummer wacko. When you live in the country you should be able to shoot your gun during reasonable daylight hours without someone whining about it. That is part of the problem today, nobody can even be slightly "put out" without calling the cops to handle their problems for them while they peek out the window.
